Since its conversion to a university in 2009 pursuant to RA 9721, Romblon State University has proudly stood as the lone state university in the province of Romblon, fulfilling its role of providing quality education and services to cater to the needs of Romblomanons.
Initially an agricultural school when it was founded in 1915, the university used to offer limited programs, which significantly grew in numbers due to the establishment of satellite campuses and strategic approaches to utilizing resources. As of 2024, RSU caters to 17,000 students across the entire university network.
The university consists of a main campus and nine satellite campuses across Romblon’s three main islands. On Tablas Island, aside from the main campus, there are campuses in San Agustin, San Andres, Sta. Maria, and Sta. Fe. Sibuyan Island hosts campuses in San Fernando and Cajidiocan, while Romblon Island has the Romblon Campus.
Academic Support: Learning Resource Center housing library collections, study spaces, and digital services.
Research & Labs: Engineering and science laboratories with planned expansions for instruction.
Digital Infrastructure: A dedicated Data Center supporting information systems and campus-wide connectivity.
Student Center: Central hub for admissions, registration, scholarships, and student-led activities.
Depart from any of these key terminals for a direct route to Batangas Port:
Board your ship at Batangas Port Pier. Travel time is approx. 8-10 hours.

Fly into Boracay (Caticlan) or Cebu, then take the ferry.
Note: Tricycles are available outside the Port of Odiongan to convey you to your respective hotels. Standard rate is ₱100.00.
Provide your flight/ship details upon registration to secure university transport.
Proceed to the terminal at the city proper, located directly across from Mercury Drug.
Minimum Fare: ₱25.00Note: No jeepneys operate strictly within the town. They are stationed at the Market for travel to other municipalities around Tablas Island.
